Is TinyFileHub really free?
Yes. All converters and the file size reducer are free to use with no account and no watermarks. The site is supported by advertising and optional donations.
Are my files safe and private?
Your files are uploaded over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), processed automatically by software and returned to you. We do not keep files - they are deleted 2 minutes after your download has finished - and we never open, view or share them.
Can the Passport Photo Maker add a suit or change the background?
Yes. Choose from 16 formal dresses for men, women and kids (suits, blazers, shirts with ties), pick a background colour (white, off-white, light blue, blue, grey, red or any custom colour) and use Enhance for better light, colour and sharpness. An AI model runs inside your browser, so the photo is never uploaded. Always check the result meets your authority's rules.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Everything runs in your browser on any phone, tablet or computer.
Is there a limit on file size?
Each task can take up to 200 MB in total - one file, or several files together. For bigger files, reduce them with the File Size Reducer or split them with the PDF & Word Splitter first, or convert them in smaller batches.
Which formats are supported?
A lot: 83 audio/video formats in and 32 audio formats out (MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A, AAC, OGG, Opus, WMA, AIFF, ALAC, WavPack, TTA, AMR, GSM, ringtones...); 60+ image formats in (JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, AVIF, GIF, BMP, TIFF, ICO, JPEG 2000, PSD and camera RAW) and 23 out (incl. PDF, ICO, AVIF, EPS, TGA, PCX); 35+ video formats in and 28 out (MP4, WebM, MKV, MOV, AVI, WMV, FLV, 3GP, MPEG-2, animated GIF). Plus PDF and PowerPoint merging.
Why did my conversion fail?
Usually the file is damaged, protected (DRM) or not really the format its name says. Try opening it locally first. If it still fails, contact us with the file type.
Does converting reduce quality?
Lossless targets (WAV, FLAC, PNG, TIFF, BMP) keep quality. Lossy targets (MP3, JPG, WEBP, MP4) are saved with high-quality settings. Use the File Size Reducer when you want smaller files on purpose.
Why do I see ads?
Ads pay for the servers and bandwidth so the tools can stay free. You can also support us with a small donation from the Support page.
Can I convert files in bulk?
Yes. Drop many files or a whole folder and download them together as a ZIP.
Do you work on mobile?
Yes, the site is designed for phones as well as desktops.
How do I contact you?
Use the Write to us form on the Contact page - you can attach a screenshot or file up to 5 MB. We read every message.
Can I leave a review?
Yes - use Give your review in the footer. Pick 1 to 5 stars, write a few words and it appears on the Reviews page with the rating summary. Only you (from the same browser) can edit it.
