How to rotate, delete and reorder PDF pages

Scanned documents often arrive with sideways pages, empty backs of sheets and pages in the wrong order. A page organizer lets you see every page and fix all three problems at once, without changing anything else in the file.

Common uses

Scanned forms and certificates

Turn pages that the scanner fed sideways, remove the empty backs of single-sided sheets and send one clean PDF.

Exam and job applications

Put marksheets, certificates and ID pages in the order the portal asks for before you upload.

Phone scans

Fix photos of pages that came out upside down and drop the blurry duplicates.

Reports and presentations

Move the summary to the front, take out draft pages and put the appendix at the end.

Books and notes

Reverse a stack that was scanned last page first, and delete separator pages.

Before printing

Remove pages you do not need so you print and pay for less.

Rotating pages

Each page has rotate-left and rotate-right buttons, and the toolbar rotates every selected page at once. The new PDF stores the turn in the page itself, so the page stays sharp and the text stays searchable.

Deleting pages

Tap the bin under a page to delete it. The page stays visible, greyed out and marked Deleted, until you save, so a mistake is easy to spot and restore. Find blank pages checks every page and selects those that look empty - including scanned blank sheets with a little dust or a shadow at the edge - so you can review them and delete them together.

Rearranging pages

Drag a page by its handle (or, with a mouse, by the page itself) and drop it where it belongs; the other pages make room as you move. For long documents, select pages and use To start or To end, or drag towards the top or bottom of the screen to scroll. Each page shows its new position and, once moved, which page it was.

What stays the same

The organizer changes only the page list and rotation. Text, fonts, images, links, bookmarks and form fields are kept exactly, and nothing is compressed or re-printed, so the file stays as sharp as the original.

Undo and safety

Undo takes back the last change, Start over returns to the original, and the tool asks before closing a file with unsaved changes. Changing a page after saving hides the old download so you never save the wrong version.

Privacy

The PDF is opened and rebuilt inside your browser. It is never uploaded, so even confidential documents stay on your device.

Troubleshooting

It says the PDF is locked

The file has a password. Open it with the password, save a copy without it, and add that copy.

It says the PDF has editing restrictions

The author set an owner password that blocks changes. Open it, choose Print and then Save as PDF, and add the new copy - or ask the sender for an unrestricted file.

A blank page was not found

Pages with a page number, a stamp or heavy scanner noise are not counted as blank. Select them yourself and press Delete.

Pictures of pages appear slowly

Very long or very detailed PDFs take a moment; pages are drawn as you scroll to them. Your changes do not need to wait for the pictures.

Available in 55 languages

The whole site - menus, buttons, guides and messages - can be switched to 55 languages, including English, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, Odia, Assamese, Nepali, Urdu, Arabic, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Turkish, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. Use the language menu in the top bar; your choice is remembered, and the file formats and tools work exactly the same in every language.

Why use TinyFileHub

  • Rotate: turn single pages or many selected pages left or right in 90-degree steps - the picture turns straight away so you can see the result
  • Delete: remove unwanted pages with one tap; deleted pages stay visible (greyed) until you save, so you can restore them
  • Find blank pages: checks every page and selects the empty-looking ones for you to review and delete
  • Rearrange: drag and drop pages with a mouse or a finger, or move selected pages to the start or end, or reverse the whole order
  • Undo, Start over, and a warning before closing unsaved changes
  • The new PDF keeps text, links, bookmarks, form fields and quality exactly as they were - pages are not re-printed or compressed
  • Runs in your browser - the PDF is never uploaded; works on phones, tablets and computers

Tips and good to know

A page is sideways or upside down

Use the rotate buttons under that page: one tap turns it 90 degrees. For an upside-down page tap twice. To fix many pages at once, select them and use Rotate left or Rotate right in the toolbar.

Removing blank pages from a scan

Press Find blank pages. Pages that look empty are selected - look at them, unselect any you want to keep, then press Delete.

Moving a page far away

Select it and press To start or To end, or drag it near the top or bottom edge of the screen to scroll while you drag.

Changed your mind?

Press Undo (or Ctrl+Z) to take back the last change, or Start over to return to the PDF exactly as you opened it.

No. The pages are shown and the new PDF is made inside your browser; the file never leaves your device.

Will the quality change?

No. Pages are moved, turned or removed as they are - text stays text and pictures keep their quality.
